Customize CheatCodeAI display settings, hotkeys, and audio devices.
Display Settings
CheatCodeAI supports both dark and light themes. You can also adjust window transparency so the app blends into your desktop without obstructing your interview window.
- Theme: Switch between dark and light mode in Settings.
- Transparency: Use the transparency slider to adjust how visible the overlay is.
- Position: Drag the window to any position on your screen, or use hotkeys to snap it to a corner.
Hotkeys
Hotkeys let you control CheatCodeAI without switching focus from your interview window.

All hotkeys can be customized in Settings > Hotkeys.
Audio Device
If you are using the audio assistant, select your preferred microphone and speaker under Settings > Audio. CheatCodeAI will use your system default if no device is selected.
Multi-Monitor Support
CheatCodeAI works across multiple monitors. Move the window to any display and it will stay in place. This is useful if you want to keep the assistant on a secondary screen during your interview.
